Welcome to Audio DVD Creator guide! Audio DVD Creator lets you create your own Audio DVD, and play it on any DVD player. Audio DVD Creator creates not just DVDs: it lets you also create Audio CD, and play it in your car or on your home stereo.

Audio DVD Creator is very easy to use, the Wizard will guide you step by step, and you just need to click "Next" and "Back" button to go through the creation of your Audio DVD or Audio CD.

1. Eerste Stap - Welkom bij Audio DVD Creator!

When you start up the application, you will see a "Welcome" page. If you are a fresh user, just click "New Project" button, and a "New Project" window will be shown. You can click "Audio DVD" button to create a new project for Audio DVD, or click "Audio CD" button to create a new project for Audio CD. The project is a file which will save all the information of your Audio DVD or Audio CD, so that you can edit it later.

After you click the "Audio DVD" button, the Wizard will go to the next step "Settings" page. If you click the "Audio CD" button, the Wizard will go to "Author" page since there is no settings for Audio CD.

The guide below will describe the steps of creating Audio DVD, and the steps of creating Audio CD is quite similar to Audio DVD.

2. Tweede Stap - Instellingen

Op de "Instellingen" pagina kan je belangrijke instellingen wijzigen om je eigen Audio DVD te maken.

Audio Formaat:

Selecteer het audio encoding formaat: PCM (48kHz/16bits) heeft hoge kwaliteit wat gelijk staat aan een Audio CD, de totale speeltijd is tot 6 uur. PCM (96kHz/24bits) heeft de beste kwaliteit, maar een speelduur van maar 2 uur. AC3 (192kbps) geeft grotere aantallen, de totale speeltijd is tot 45 uur en de kwaliteit is nog steeds goed. Als uw DVD speler het ondersteunt kunt u ook AC3 (128kbps) selecteren om meer audio bestanden te plaatsen op één Audio DVD.

TV Mode:

Selecteer de TV Mode welke compatibel is net je DVD speler.

NTSC: NTSC (National Television Standards Committee) is een standaard gebruikt in Noord America en Japan. Het heeft de mogelijkheid om tot een resolutie van 525 lijnen te laten zien.

PAL: PAL (Phase Alternating Line), een standaard welke bijna over de rest van de wereld wordt gebruikt en heeft de mogelijkheid om tot een resolutie van 625 lijnen te laten zien.

Theme:

Select the theme to customize how your Audio DVD looks like. It consists of a DVD menu and a title background image which will be displayed through the whole audio playback. You can click "Customize" to create your own theme.

Customize Theme:

Click the "Customize" button to open the "Customize Theme" window. You can create a new theme, edit a theme you created before, change the background image of Menu or Title and change the color of text and edge.

Project Naam:

Voer de project naam in wat de standaard naam zal zijn van je Audio DVD.

Als je klaar bent met de instellingen, klik op "Volgende" voor de "Samenstellen" Pagina!

3. Derde Stap - Samenstellen

Nu kan je je favoriete Audio CDs of MP3,WAV bestanden toevoegen aan het Audio DVD project.

Laten we eerst Audio CD tracks toevoegen. Je kunt op de knop "Audio CD Toevoegen "klikken in de linker boven kant van de "Samenstellen" Pagina.

In "Add Audio CD" window, you can see all your CD/DVD drives in the CD-ROM list. Please insert an Audio CD disc to your CD-ROM, and select it in the CD-ROM list. Audio DVD Creator will select all the tracks by default.

You can click "Get Remote CDDB", and Audio DVD Creator will try to get CDDB information from freedb.org, then update the Album, Song Name, and other information. When you click "Add to Project", Audio DVD Creator will rip the selected audio tracks to WAV files on hard disk at first , then import them to the project.

If you cannot connect to the default freedb server, please click "Update CDDB Server List" to get the mirror server list. Then you can select other freedb servers and try again.

Je kunt ook een andere CD Rip Programma gebruiken om WAV bestanden te maken van de Audio CD en deze dan toe te voegen met de "Muziek Bestanden Toevoegen" functie.

Door op "Muziek Bestanden Toevoegen", te klikken kan je audio bestanden op de harde schijf toevoegen aan het project.

Het "Muziek Bestanden Toevoegen" scherm heeft een explorer achtige interface: Je kunt door de mappen navigeren welke audio bestanden bevatten, je kan alle ondersteunde audio bestanden bekijken in de bestandslijst en je kan klikken op “Map Toevoegen” om alle audio bestanden te importeren in de huidige map naar de "Import Bestandslijst", of je kan specifieke audio bestanden selecteren en klikken op “Bestanden Toevoegen” om deze te importeren naar de "Import Bestandslijst".

"Create DVD Title" is an option of how to add Music files into different Titles.
Automatically: Music files in one folder will be added into the same DVD Title;
one-album-one-title: Music files which have same Album tag will be added into the same DVD Titlte;
one-file-one-title: Every music file will be added into different DVD Titles;
all-files-one-title: All music files in "Import File List" will be added into one DVD Title.

Als laatste kan je klikken op “OK” om alle audio bestanden te importeren van de "Import Bestandslijst" naar het project.

Na het importeren van de audio bestanden naar het project, zal je terug keren naar de "Samenstellen" pagina en kan je alle audio bestanden zien in de project bestandslijst.

"DVD Titles" shows the project layout of your Audio DVD.

You can use "Add Title", "Delete", "Up", "Down" buttons or the pop up menu by right clicking on the project file list, to edit the layout of titles and audio files.

Voorbeeld:
a. Add a new Title, and move the music file into it.
b. Drag & drop the Title or music file to any position.
c. Move up & down the Title and music file.

Audio DVD Creator will set the Title/Song caption automatically:
1) If the ID3Tag or CDDB information is available, it will be used.
2) If the ID3Tag or CDDB information is not available, Folder/File Name will be used.

If you want to edit Title/Song/Artist caption, just select a node and click "Edit Caption" in pop up menu with a mouse rightclick or click "Enter" key.

The Title/Song caption will be shown on DVD Menus.

By right clicking on the title name row, and choose "Select Title Image", you can assign a backgound image for that title.

Let Op: controleer de grootte van het project d.m.v. Data Grootte overzicht om er zeker van te zijn dat het niet groet is dan 4.3 GB (welke de maximale grootte is van een DVDR).

Capacity limit:
The maximum play time in one DVD title is 6h:30m.
The maximum number of audio files in one DVD title is 98.
The maximum number of DVD title is 99.

4. Vierde Stap - Voorbeeld van de Audio DVD

Je kunt te allen tijden een voorbeeld bekijken van je Audio DVD terwijl je deze bewerkt. Als het niet is wat je wilt kan je terug gaan naar de "Samenstellen" pagina of de "Instellingen" pagina om jet project aan te passen en bekijk het voorbeeld opnieuw totdat je tevreden bent met het resultaat.

5. Vijfde Stap - Maken van een Audio DVD

Je kunt een Audio DVD exporteren naar een hard schijf map, zodat je deze eerst kan controleren met een software DVD speler en dan kan je het branden met je favoriete DVD brand programma.

You can also burn the Audio DVD directly with the internal burning engine of Audio DVD Creator or use the third party burning program on your PC. If you have multiple DVD writers on your PC, please select it form the DVD writer list. You can set the Volume Name of your Audio DVD too.

6. Zesde Stap

Nu moet je alleen even wachten totdat de DVD klaar is. Je kunt ook op “Annuleren” klikken om het proces te stoppen en terug te gaan naar de "DVD Maken" pagina.

How to play your Audio DVD?

You can play the DVD created by Audio DVD Creator as well as what you normally do to a commercial DVD. Besides, there are some useful (but not so obvious) features we want you know.

• How to select tracks when the created DVD has more than 10 albums (DVD titles)?

The created Audio DVD displays 10 albums (DVD titles) at a time in the DVD menu. You can press the Left/Right arrow buttons on the DVD remote to access the next/previous 10 albums.


• Play music directly (skip the DVD menu) when you insert the created DVD.

If you check the option "Play music directly instead of showing menu when disc inserted" in the "Settings" window (the second step) for creating Audio DVD, the DVD menu won't be shown and the first track (DVD title) will be played when you insert the DVD. You can access the DVD menu through the DVD remote whenever you want later. Actually this is not an option of playing the Audio DVD because you cannot change the behavior once the DVD is made. So make a choice before making the DVD.


• Return to the current page of the DVD menu.

Press the "Title Menu" button on the DVD remote will bring you to the first page of the DVD menu which will display titles from 1 to 10. Also, by pressing the "Root Menu" button on the DVD remote, you can access the menu which contains the currently playing title. For example, when you plays a track in title 23, press "Root Menu" button will bring you to the menu which will display titles from 21 to 30.
